On 13th May 1917 a Lady appeared to three children looking after their flocks in fields near Fatima, telling them that she was the "Lady of the Rosary" and that a chapel should be built for her. Since then pilgrims have been coming from all over the world to receive the message of Fatima: the call to prayer and penance.
