Fatima Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Fly from London to Lisbon, where you will be met and transferred by coach to your hotel in Fatima to check in for dinner and overnight stay. You will be staying here on Half Board basis for 7 nights.

Day 2

Visionaries
Visit Fatima with your guide, who will also tell you about the religious celebrations and devotions for the day. You will go first to the Sanctuary of the Cova d'Iria for the Mass. This is where Our Lady appeared in 1917 to the four children. Visit also the Chapel of Apparitions and the tombs of the beatified visionaries, Francisco and Jacinto, who died in childhood.

Day 3

Valinhos
Free morning in Fatima to participate in daily devotions. In the afternoon you will visit Valinhos and walk to visionaries' home in Aljustrel and to Cabeco where the children received the Eucharist from the Angel of Portugal in 1916.

Day 4

Coimbra
Full day excursion to Coimbra: to visit the Carmelite Convent where Sister Lucia is resident. (You may not be able to see Sister Lucia herself as she belongs to an enclosed order.) In the afternoon you can enjoy the seaside resort of Figuira da Foz before returning to Fatima.

Day 5
Today you have a free day in Fatima or you can join a full-day excursion to Lisbon which includes a sight-seeing tour of the city plus free time. Mass will be arranged if possible at the birthplace of St. Anthony of Padua. Return to Fatima. (Price: Ł25.00 for minimum group of 20)

Day 6
Full day excursion to the nearby fishing port of Nazare, stopping on the way to visit the Dominican Monastery at Batalha and the Cistercian Monastery at Alcobaca.

Day 7
Today you have a free day in Fatima for quiet reflection and devotions.

Day 8
Today after breakfast you will be taken by coach to the airport at Lisbon for your return flight to London.
