A Catholic Pilgrimage to the Holy Land
12th - 19th May 2017
Departing from London Luton with Easy Jet
It is the dream of every Christian to make a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, following in the footsteps of our Lord. First we will visit Bethlehem, the birth place of Jesus. Then on to Jerusalem, the focal point of a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. We will follow the Palm Sunday route, visiting the Upper Room of the Last Supper, the Mount of Olives and Gethsemane, and following the Way of the Cross through the old city to Calvary and the Holy Tomb, now enshrined in the Holy Sepulchre Church. We will end our Pilgrimage by travelling into the peaceful and fruitful hills of Galilee where Jesus spent his childhood and carried out his ministry. Everyone returns spiritually enriched from the Holy Land with fresh insights into the Gospels, filled with the wonder of having trod in his footsteps and all return with a great desire to revisit the Holy Land. We hope that you will travel this path with us, keeping the Christian faith alive in the Holy Land. This Pilgrimage is a Catholic departure, led by a Catholic Spiritual Director with Holy Mass celebrated daily. However, people of all denominations are welcome to join this departure.
